CRUISINGABRUISING is our beautiful, athletic, and very well-bred Thoroughbred stallion by WAR CRY and out of CRUISING EXECUTIVE by perennial leading Canadian sire, BOLD EXECUTIVE.

From 2003-10, BOLD EXECUTIVE topped the Canadian sires’ list six times and finished second the other two times.  From 2007 through 2011, he led the Canadian synthetic all four years and was North America’s leading synthetic sire twice.  In 2011, BOLD EXECUTIVE was represented by both the highest-priced colt (CDN$100,000) and the top-priced filly (CDN$70,000) at the Canadian Thoroughbred Society’s Canadian-bred yearling sale.  He sired 3 Canadian champions (BLONDE EXECUTIVE, SAND COVE, and SIMPLY LOVELY), and as a broodmare sire is represented by 13 stakes winners.  BOLD EXECUTIVE finished first or second in 15 of 19 races and earned $365,305 before he entered stud in 1989.  He sired 818 foals, 676 starters (83%) and 518 winners (63%) with total earnings exceeding $53 million!  BOLD EXECUTIVE was produced from the winning VICTORIA PARK mare, ARCTIC VIXEN, who was Canada’s Broodmare of the Year in 1987.  BOLD EXECUTIVE’s full brother, HIGHLAND RUCKUS, was also a multiple stakes winner.

CRUISINGABRUISING’s dam, CRUISING EXECUTIVE, had career earnings of $157,976 (2 firsts, 1 second, 1 third, 20 starts).  Her maternal grandsire, KRIS S., produced 385 mares who produced 2623 foals, 2073 starters (79%), and 1507 winners (57%) with total earnings of $156,485,270.

On the topside, WAR CRY is by UNBRIDLED (24 starts, 8 firsts, 6 seconds, 6 thirds, LTE $4,489,475), sire of 582 foals, 421 starters (72%), and 283 winners (49%) who earned $48,384,240.  WORDS OF WAR is by LORD AT WAR, who had LTE of $776,945 (17 starts, 10 firsts, 1 second, 4 thirds).

CRUISINGABRUISING’s pedigree is steeped in a strong racing background, crossed to our draft-cross and warmblood mares, he has consistently produced eventers, hunters, and companions in Ontario, GA, NY and AL. He has also sired a few ApHC and AQHA foals, which are correct, pretty and we are looking forward to their futures in their breed events. Bruiser’s offspring have been sizeable mounts with nice smooth, flat movement for all levels of enthusiasts.
